Our Story
​The Growing Place began in 2014 with a simple dream — to create a warm, welcoming space where children could learn, grow, and feel loved. We started in a small rented facility with just a handful of families who shared our passion for early childhood education rooted in kindness, curiosity, and community.
As our little school blossomed, we knew it was time to find a place to truly call our own. In 2019, after years of dreaming and planning, we moved into our forever home — a remodeled old church that we transformed into a bright, cheerful space made just for children. Every corner of our building was designed with care, from cozy classrooms to playful outdoor spaces, all meant to inspire learning and laughter every day.
Today, The Growing Place continues to be a place where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and grow — not just academically, but in character and confidence. We are so grateful for the families who have been part of our journey and for the opportunity to nurture the next generation with love and purpose.
Our Logo
The logo and the phrase “Growing with a Purpose” are inspired by 1 Corinthians 3:7:
“So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.”
Just as a tree needs nurturing, guidance, and strong roots to grow, children thrive when they are cared for with intention and love. In our role, we plant seeds of learning, kindness, and curiosity, and we water them through daily guidance and encouragement. But ultimately, we trust that God is the one who brings true growth—in their hearts, minds, and futures. Our tree logo is a reminder that every child is created with purpose, and with the right support and values, they will grow in the way God intends.
